Anne Heche 'Not Expected to Survive' Following Car Crash

Anne Heche, an award-winning actor, is reportedly not expected to survive following a car wreck last week.

The representative for Heche's family released a statement on Thursday

The 53-year-old actor suffered a severe brain injury, and as of now, she remains in a coma and on life support.

Heche was hospitalized since the crash on Aug. 5 after the car crash.

The actress was driving erratically and was involved in another minor collision before crashing her car into a house in Los Angeles.

The house and vehicle were quickly engulfed in flames, 59 firefighters worked for over an hour to rescue Heche and extinguish the fire.

Heche was born in Ohio in 1969 and has won a Daytime Emmy Award for playing twins on the soap opera Another World.

Some of these films were Donnie Brasco, Volcano, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Six Days Seven Nights, and Gus Van Sant's horror remake film Psycho.
